Photos from the Exploration Zone: Learning from the Experience
The WHOI scientists and ALRI artists collaborated to create educational art that presents a fusion of science and creativity in an easily-accessible format. It brings in the scientists’ expertise of knowledge of these ocean discoveries through the expressive viewpoint of the artists. This captivates the audience to understand what was going on in the ocean and creates a conversation about ocean research. This collaborative effort not only enriches educational experiences but also cultivates a deeper connection and understanding of the ocean's significance.
Regardless of age, this shared experience with one another was an amazing opportunity for artists and scientists to work together and create an environment that was enjoyable for anyone to participate in. This collaboration and mutual inspiration brought together the community to let them experience how the ocean is an amazing and an important aspect of our lives.
